Feb 19, 2011 Snowshoeing
This was a great day for all 11 of us, with the possible exception of a few moments when 2 folks got wet feet.
The ice is spectacular, and the most amazing blue color.
The first hour of the trail is groomed. After that it was trail-breaking all the way in deep snow up the brook bed.
The pictures do not come close to representing the depth and height of this valley and the rockfaces overwhich the water drips to form the ice formations.
