A perfect day; higher than normal water.

With the higher water, we spent a lot of time dodging rocks that are usually visible above the water. Finding the channel was challenging in places, but usually keeping to the inside curve worked well. We both scraped bottom a couple of times, and got hung up on an occasional rock, but we did not need to get out of the boat.

The camera took some pictures all by itself before the auto-off took effect. I included them because this never happened before. Mostly it looked up from my lap at the paddle, the sky, the trees; the bottom of the bridge.

We saw eagles, osprey, ducks, a big eel, some sandpiper-like birds, and an occasional fish jumping. More fishermen than fish, however.
